Tiny bundle of animated fur,
Bouncing around,
Shedding never ending love
As she snuggles into your life.
Each day a new discovery
A new joy, a new amusement.
A cat personality develops
To delight and entertain you.
The numbered days tick by
Unprepared you face devastation
Too soon, too soon –
Your love seems unfulfilled.
But she remembers the rescue,
She remembers the joy,
She remembers the fun,
She remembers your love.
Your love is
fulfilled,
Your love surrounds her,
As she plays pain free
Waiting at the rainbow bridge.
